We tend to forget just how amazing are brains really are. But it’s important not to take your brain for granted, and one way to treat it well is to take the time when you first wake up to stimulate your brain. This is easy to do, does not take much time, can be done in the comfort of your bed, but will help your brain and help you prepare for the day ahead.

How to improve your memory? Set your alarm for ten minutes earlier than you have to be out of bed. This way you can relish the time to stimulate your brain and not worry about being late for work. Stretch each part of your body and really focus on it when you are doing so.

As you are stimulating your brain in the morning before you get out of bed, you are going to stimulate the nerve endings to your brain. If you often end up sluggish in the morning then this could be a great way to wake you up and get your day off to a better start. When you stimulate your brain each morning before you get out of bed you will be safer too.

Many people discover that they have increased levels of alertness as they travel to work and that this is retained throughout the day when they begin with brain stimulation. As children we are naturally highly visual.

So, the question is: how to improve memory? You can roll back time by beginning each morning as a stimulating experience. Envision yourself in a life as a princess or a rock star prior to leaving your bed each morning. Focus on graphic visions of how your life would be. Concentrate on bringing all your senses into the picture as well.

The more you involve all of your senses and your imagination, the more your brain wil be stimulated and the more it will benefit. It’s also a good idea to have some classical music by your bed that you can turn on and enjoy even before you get up. Take just ten minutes to focus on the sounds of classical music. This will open up your mind, stimulate your brain and also prepare you for the day.

As you become more familiar with the music it is going to be easier to end up thinking about something else as you listen to it. Don’t let that happen though make a conscious effort to focus all of your attention on only the music for that span of time. Some people would prefer to engage in such a process before bed to help them unwind. So the best rule of thumb if you want to really stimulate your brain is to take part in such activities first thing in the morning
